Brent J. Crisci’s United Martial Arts Academies sponsors a series of United Karate Camps across the state of Maine. An outdoor adventure camp in northern Maine included great outdoor instruction lakeside in the ancient arts of Kempo Karate and Jui jitsu, as well as, the students learning the kata, “SAN DAN WAZA” never before taught in the United States. The students also face off together against the mighty Kennebec River in a whitewater adventure none shall soon forget.

One of the United Karate Camps directors, Grandmaster Robert W. Hoe, not only nurtured the student minds but there bodies as well, with some incredible oriental specialties he had prepares.

Another camp just for the youth is held at the STATE Y.M.C.A. CAMP in Winthrop, Maine. Dozens of young people gather to enjoy the training sessions, as well as, the variety of outdoor activities the camp offered. Sensei Ryan Chamberland, one of the camp directors in Winthrop and Chief Instructor of the United Martial Academies Dojo in East Winthrop, really made the egg toss & watermelon eating contests loads of fun! 

A New Full All Inclusive 1 week long camp will be held also featuring daily martial arts training , as well as, woods and water skills. With a new guest instructor each day this week promises to be one which provides a whole bunch of life long memories for those young Karateka that attend.
