TEAM KICKSUSA
Master Brent J. Crisci’s KICKSUSA COMPETITION/DEMONSTRATION TEAM was established in 1992 as a tournament competition team and precision demonstration group. It was to and does provide an opportunity for martial artists who have the desire, ability and drive to to the best of the best to realize their dreams. Master Brent J. Crisci formed the team to give these champions in the rough a venue to train under his guidance and excel to the heights of their potential. To give the individual members a bond with their team members which encouraged team spirit and provided the support only a tightly knit group of fellow team players can and does provide.
Since its creation, Brent J. Crisci's KICKSUSA COMPETITION/ DEMONSTRATION TEAM has grown and flourished. Holding annual tryouts to bring new members in and maintain a level of excellence. The team is sponsored solely through business and personal sponsors and group fund-raising efforts. It relies on the generosity of these sponsors and their competitive spirit to help keep their dream alive.
Master Brent J. Crisci's KICKSUSA COMPETITION/DEMONSTRATION TEAM has produced TOP TEN Nationally ranked competitors every year since its creation. It has had 5 National fighting champions, 5 International Champions and a 4 time world champion. It saw the number ranked Forms competitor in New England 3 years in a row. Members of the team have competed both nationally, as well as, in China, Russia, South Korea and at the Pan American Games. Members have received ratings, titles and awards from The Professional and Amateur Karate Leagues, the National Black Belt League, N.A.S.K.A., Sport Karate International, the National Blackbelt League, the Independent Practitioners & Promoters of New England, the World Martial Arts Hall Of Fame, and many, many more. The team and its members have also received coverage and recognition from a variety of publications including many local newspapers, BLACKBELT magazine, KARATE INTERNATIONAL Magazine, SPORT KARATE INTERNATIONAL magazine, ACTION MARTIAL ARTS magazine, STATE OF THE ARTS magazine, KARATEKA magazine,
Master Brent J. Crisci’s KICKSUSA COMPETITION/DEMONSTRATION TEAM also acts as a performing martial arts exhibition group for a variety of functions. They have participated or sponsored charitable fund raisers to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association, St. Judes Children's Hospitals, Chuck Norris’ Kick Drugs Out Of America Programs, the Children's Discovery Museums, and the Parks and Recreation Student Programs. The team appeared on the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Telethon annually and was awarded a special commendation for being the number one MDA martial fund raiser for the entire state 3 years in a row.
